Episode 81 – Godzilla (2014), Jupiter Ascending, A Fantastic Fear of Everything, review: Prisoners

Is the Man of Steel sequel actually a Justice League movie? A lesser online outlet would use speculation to say “YES!” In this episode, we just use speculation to say “YES! (maybe).” Then we watch trailers for the Godzilla reboot, Jupiter Ascending with Channing Tatum as a Sexy Magic Mike Elf, and Simon Pegg in A Fantastic Fear of Everything. We also review the movie Prisoners on home video and talk about What We’re Watching.

Our review of Prisoners in this episode is spoiler-free as usual, but if you want to hear an extended review with spoilers, listen to our bonus podcast Episode 81.5.

New trailer: ‘Doctor Who’ – Season 7

OK, I’m a huge fan of Doctor Who. So here’s the new trailer for Season 7 (or Series 7 for you Brits.) The show airs on BBC America in the States. As usual, the BBC is mum on exactly what date the new season will premiere. The trailer says “This Fall,” but there’s speculation that it could premiere before the end of this month. (UPDATE – 8/23/12: The BBC and BBC America have announced that Season 7 will premiere with “Asylum of the Daleks” on Saturday, September 1.)
